On Saturday, October 19, 2013, PARC honored 13 Magnetic Men for their contributions and generosity in the Tampa Bay Community. The Diamond Reflection Black Tie Ball drew hundreds of people from around the Bay, to wine, dine and participate in a silent auction to benefit those with disabilities. The Event was held at The Vinoy Renaissance in Downtown St. Petersburg and was a massive success.
PARC is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide opportunities for children and adults with developmental disabilities to exercise their independence and experience life to the fullest.
By creating and sharing, PARC is proud to provide over 40 services to over 800 children and adults with developmental disabilities. Through these miraculous stories, PARC supporters are able to understand the vision, mission and values that have been instilled throughout PARC's history.
This year, PARC honored LeavenLaw Managing Partner Ian R. Leavengood as one of their 13 Magnetic Men. As a consumer law attorney here in the Tampa Bay area for the better part of the last decade, Ian and his firm has helped thousands and thousands of consumers troubled with credit and debt fix their problems and try to rebuild their lives.
"I am honored to have been selected as an ambassador of sorts to this wonderful organization," stated Ian Leavengood when asked what it meant to be selected as a Magnetic Man. "I have been familiar with PARC and its great work for the better part of my life. My wife, Robin and I, were fortunate enough to tour PARC's facilities and see the great work they do first hand. I am thrilled that I was the successful bidder on the event's centerpiece and could contribute to the cause."
