Aaron Swift, Leavengood, Dauval & Boyle, P.A.’s newest associate, has been appointed to the leadership of the American Bar Association (ABA) General Practice (GP), Solo & Small Firm Division. The ABA is the world’s largest voluntary professional organization, with nearly 400,000 members, and is committed to improving the legal profession by advancing the rule of the law throughout the United States and around the world.
The ABA’s GP, Solo & Small Firm Division serves the diverse needs and interests of lawyers who work in a variety of substantive law areas within solo and small firm practice settings. Specifically, Aaron will serve as the Co-Chair of the Administrative & Government Law Committee and as a national member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee. “We are excited to have Aaron back on board with Leavengood, Dauval & Boyle, P.A. and are not surprised that he has been selected by the ABA for this national post,” said Leavengood, Dauval & Boyle, P.A. Managing Partner, Ian R. Leavengood. “Aaron has been a tremendous asset to this firm and consumers all across the Tampa Bay area.”
Aaron received his JD from Stetson University College of Law in May of 2011. As a law student, he served as a national liaison to the ABA and was a law clerk with Leavengood, Dauval & Boyle, P.A.. Upon graduation, Aaron worked as the Assistant Director of Alumni Relations at Stetson University College of Law. He recently re-joined Leavengood, Dauval & Boyle, P.A. as an associate and mainly practices Consumer Law. “Serving the interests of small firm lawyers is an honor and privilege, and I look forward to increasing the notoriety of Leavengood, Dauval & Boyle, P.A. on a national stage,” Swift says.
